About Merie Merie Haven 

I pretty much knew that I had a sense of fashion at an early age. I would always match up uncommon colors and would dare to be different. Even now at the age of 21 i still feel the same.  I have always been a plus size woman and to tell you the truth i was ashamed on being that. But as time went by and i grew older i learned how to accept myself and be me.  Everyone is not alike, im proud to be a big boned sister and i celebrate as well.  No its not a easy task being one, but it is a beautiful thing to embrace. So what really inspired me to do clothes was actually going into stores and never finding anything in my size that look great. I would always find things that a grandma would wear and i didnt feel sexy in it or attain that attractive sex appeal that i wanted. I feel like a young gurl trapped in a old womans outfit lol. So my aunt taught me how to sew and for some reason i never put it down, I kept at it, and yes it paid off and its paying off. Im so lucky that i have this talent because finally i can bring us as big women out of the darkness in fashion and into the light.  If you are a big gurl and reading this " dare to be different" this is what makes you who u are in life. " We are big boned sistas, yes we are, we are proud women, in diffferent sizes shapes and colors by far, we stand straight guided with confidence, and make the earth shake and quake cause we are known to rock it"...............dare to be you!!! merie merie haven
